Probate of the Will dated 25 June 1737, of Thomas Beacon Townsend of London devising to his cousin Thomas Drury, esq., one of the Six Clerks in Chancery, his share in property called Wickham (?) Hall, co. Essex, and in Southwark, held jointly with the said Thomas Drury; with other bequests to Robert Ferguson and his wife, his sister Mary Ferguson, Abram Reynardson and his wife, his sister Elizabeth Reynardson, his brother Joseph Townsend, his cousin Major Swanwicke, his cousin Chauncy Townsend, his aunts Hannah Parish and Martha Hammond, Elizabeth Swanwicke, Hannah Voice and Mary Parish, daughters of his aunt Parish, and the six children of his aunt Roberts. Residuary estate to Joseph Townsend. Witnesses: John Mather, William Rose. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, London, 15 July 1737.
