Lease and Release: Littleworth Farm (Honington), Sibford Ferris and Sibford Gower

Description

Indentures of Lease and Release between William Walford of Banbury, esq., of the one part, William Edwards of Newmarket, co. Camb., gent., and Charles Davis of Ascot Heath in the parish of Sunning, co. Berks., gent., of the other part (reciting ER3/2148-2149 ER3/2150 and reciting that by two bonds dated 20 January 1830, William Walford had become indebted to William Edwards and Charles Davis in the several sums of £2000 and £2000 each respectively and reciting that the principal sums upon such bonds were then still remaining due and also the mortgage sums of £2000 and £800 on the mortgages recited in ER3/2148-2149 ER3/2150), whereby it was witnessed that William Walford, in discharge of the sums of £2022 10s 0d and £2022 10s 0d then due to William Edwards and Charles Davis upon the said bonds, conveyed to William Edwards and Charles Davis the capital mansion and estate in Sibford Ferris and Sibford Gower, co. Oxon., (more particularly therein described) subject to mortgages; and it was further witnessed that William Walford, in consideration and discharge of the said bonds, conveyed to the said William Edwards and Charles Davis his undivided moiety in the premises at Honington (called Littleworth Farm) being the residue of the premises settled by ER3/2101-2104 and not sold to the Townsends, subject to the mortgages described in ER3/2148-2149 ER3/2150. Witnesses: J. Munton and R. Beesley, solicitors of Banbury, and William Parr Isaacson, solicitor of Newmarket.
