Description

Indenture and Counterpart of a fine levied in the Court at Westminster within three weeks of Michaelmas 1719, before Peter King, John Blencowe, Robert Tracy and Robert Dormer, H.M. Justices, between Thomas Townsend and Richard Bartlett, plaintiffs, and Elizabeth Rowney, spinster, deforciant, of one messuage, two cottages, one dovehouse, three gardens, one orchard, seventy acres of land, ten acres of meadow, forty acres of pasture and six acres of furze and heath, with common of pasture for all cattle in Halford. Attached: a receipt for costs, dated 29 July 1720, signed by Thomas Fletcher, and a receipt, dated 4 October 1720, for costs connected with the above fine.
