Description
Draft Conveyance from William Baldwin of Stratford-upon-Avon, farmer, to Ann Mander of Northampton, widow, John Smith of Long Itchington, farmer, and Robert Smith of Blenheim Park, co. Oxon., farmer, for £2000 of five parcels of land containing 23a. 3r. 8p. called Cotterills Stile ground, Wigleys Ground, the Gravel Pit ground, the Rickyard ground and the Little Meadow, which were awarded to the Reverend Henry Wigley under the Shottery Inclosure Award in lieu of one yardland and three quarters of a yardland; which five parcels of land were bounded on the North by the land of Thomas Mason, on the east by the Stratford-Evesham Road, on the South by the Stratford-Shottery Road (called the Burying Road) [Shottery Road] and on the West by land of the Marquis of Hertford.
