Conveyance: Wood End, Fillongley
Description
Conveyance from Ann Newman of Fillongley, widow, to Jane Newman of Fillongley, spinster, daughter of Ann Newman (in consideration of the preferment of Jane Newman in Marriage and also that Jane Newman should pay to Richard Clarke of Fillongley, cordwainer, £5 then due to him by Ann Newman) of the cottage wherein she dwelt in the Wood End in Fillongley, together with the barn, garden and 'hempbecke', all which premises are now in the occupation of William Kimberley; subject to proviso that if the said Ann during her life paid to the said Jane Newman twelve pence and declared her intention in writing in that behalf, that then these presents should be null and void. Witnesses: William Whadcocke, Thomas Phillips and Ann Phillips.
