Description

Settlement on the Marriage of Nicholas Rastell, younger son of William Rastell of Berkswell, yeoman and Anna, his wife and Mary Heath, daughter of Job Heath of Berkswell, yeoman, being a conveyance from William Rastell to Thomas Heath of Berkswell, weaver, and William Gardner of Bradnock Marsh in the parish of Berkswell, carpenter, for £40, of a messuage with garden, orchard and appurtenances and four closes called the Barne Croft alias the Barne Field, the Home field alias the Little Field, the White field and the Shirley field situate in Cornest End in Berkswell between Slibber Slade and Black Fanns, then in the tenure of William Rastell; to hold in trust to certain uses and trusts therein specified. Witnesses: Jane Bettison, John Bettison, S. Cox, Edmund Jenins and Mary Jesson.
