Mortgage from John Whitmore of Henley-in-Arden, shoemaker, and Elizabeth his wife (one of the daughters of George Crookeshanke and Frances his wife, which Frances was one of the sisters and co-heirs of John Sadleir late of Fillongley, gent., deceased) to John Meigh, yeoman and John Morteboyes, husbandman, churchwardens of Fillongley and Matthias Baker and Thomas Nash, overseers of the poor of Fillongley to secure £80, of certain hereditaments in Fillongley and Maxstoke more particularly therein described. Covenant to levy a fine to Charles Hales to certain uses. Witnesses: Thomas Holbeche and Charles Shuttleworth.
