Assignment of Lease: Alveston and Tiddington
Description
Assignment from Thomas Browne of Alveston, yeoman, and Frances Browne of the same place, widow, to Thomas Cotterell of Tanworth, yeoman, of a lease, dated 1 July 1612, from Richard Lane of Bridgetown, Alveston, esq. and Edward Lane, son and heir of the said Richard, to Thomas Browne the elder (then deceased) and the said Frances, wife of Thomas Browne the elder and the said Thomas Browne of Alveston, party hereto, of a messuage and one yard land situate in Alveston and Tiddington, for a term of 100 years if the said Thomas Browne the elder should so long live, and, after his decease, to the said Frances for a term of 100 years if she should so long live, and after her death to the said Thomas Browne for a term of 100 years if he should so long live, at a rent of 40 shillings per annum. Witnesses: Joshua Raynsford, John Scarlett, Richard Sax, William Perks and John Adkins.
