Lease dated 16 March 1687/8 (Old style) [1688], from Thomas Kennon of Coventry, mercer, to Richard Hunt of Ansley, husbandman, of a messuage, little Close thereto adjoining and other closes called Pitt field, Crossall field, Greatyard barn field, Wellfield, Little Stubble Heathy field, Furfield and Drapers Moor, all in Ansley and called Monwood Lea and then in the occupation of Richard Hunt, for 21 years at a yearly rent of £18. Witnesses: Jo: Vere and John Vere.
