Description
Lease dated 8 March 1657/8 (Old style) [1658], from John Griffin of Eathorpe in the parish of Wappenbury, miller, to Thomas Goode of Marton, husbandman, of a cottage with appurtenances in Marton and seven 'lands' and common of pasture for two beasts for seventeen years next ensuing at a yearly rent during the first two years of the said term of £2 6s 8d. and during the residue of the said term one peppercorn. Witnesses: Robert Jeffer and William Goode.
