Description
Assignment from John Haines of Haselor, gent., (devisee and executor under the Will of Jeremiah Jordan late of Bearley, deceased) and Thomas Lane of Bearley, yeoman (reciting that Thomas Pearkes of Bearley, yeoman, deceased, by indenture dated 23 August 1595, demised to William Townsend a messuage with yard, etc. and garden in Bearley for a term of 1000 years, and reciting that the said premises were bequeathed by Jeremiah Jordan to John Haines (ER3/2674), for £21 of the said messuage in Bearley formerly in the possession of Samuel Turner, afterwards of Jeremiah Jordan, and then of Thomas Lane, for the residue of the term of 1000 years. Witnesses: Thomas Smith and Thomas Attwood, clerks to Mr. Hunt.
