Description

Assignment from John Savage of Stock-and-Bradley, co. Worcs., husbandman, William Savage of Tanworth, husbandman, John Hughes of Tanworth, husbandman, and Mary his wife, one of the daughters of George Savage late of Tanworth, deceased, to Susannah wife of Gilbert Field of Tanworth, blacksmith, another of the daughters of the said George Savage (reciting a lease, dated 10 May 1711 from William Bennet of Birmingham and Joyce his wife of a parcel of land in Tanworth, being part of a close called Hanging Hill fronting towards a lane leading from Dansey Green to Tanworth Church, more particularly therein mentioned, to George Savage for a term of 99 years at a peppercorn rent for the first thirteen years and at a rent of 2s. 6d. per annum thereafter) of the residue of the said lease in the premises upon which a cottage had then recently been erected. Witnesses: William Yates Senior and William Yates Junior.
