Bond from Richard Godson Swerford co. Oxford, yeoman, and Francis Godson of the same place, his son and heir, to James Upton of Lower Brailes, innkeeper, to secure the said James Upton against claim of dower on behalf of Martha Godson, wife of the said Richard Godson upon a messuage and lands in Lower Brailes in the successive occupations of William Godson, glover, and William Hands, conveyed by the said Richard Godson to the said James Upton, in the penal sum of £50.
