Marriage Settlement: John Marston and Sarah Gravener, Conveyance of Messuage in Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Settlement dated 28 January 1668/9 (Old style) [1669], by John Marston of Hampton Lucey, tailor, on his marriage with Sarah Gravener, daughter of Humphrey Gravener, late of Snitterfield, whereby he conveys to Nathaniel Cookes of the Olds in the parish of Snitterfield, gent., a messuage in Stratford-upon-Avon in Sheepe Street, bequeathed to him by Edward Marston his father, having the tenement of Elizabeth Marston his sister on the West and a garden of Ellenor Hunt, widow, on the East and now being in the tenure of Robert Rawboane, wheelwright; in trust to the use of him, the said John Marston, for life and after to the said Sarah for life as a jointure, with remainder to their issue and in default to the right heirs of John Marston.
