Description

Lease from Nathaniel Mason of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., to the Reverend Henry Sheward of Halford, clerk, of a messuage in Halford, part whereof was then late in the possession of Robert Hyron, and four yard lands of arable meadow and pasture in the common fields of Halford, late in the occupation of Robert Hyron (except all timber and also except out of the said messuage the parlour and the chamber over the hall and the garret over the best chamber) and also the use of the new stable with the use of the garden of the said house, for four years at a rent of £60 per annum. Witnesses: William Baylis and Edmund Brooke. Memorandum of the goods of Nathaniel Mason in the hands of Henry Sheward in the said messuage.
