Conveyance: Chapel Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Description

Conveyance by Shirley Woolmer of Wapping New Crane, London, fishmonger and Elizabeth his wife to William Roberts and Henry Roberts of Stratford-upon-Avon, bakers, for £140, of messuages in Stratford, in Chapel Street, having a messuage in possession of William Halford on the North and the Falcon Inn on the South; and having been lately in the several possessions of Richard Cooper, Robert Horsman, Thomas Tims and widow Dadley, now being in the several possessions of Francis Hart and widow Dadley, together with a close of three quarters of an acre on the West side of the same; which said messuages, etc. were devised to the said Shirley Woolmer by the Will of Joseph Woolmer, dated 1 June 1745, charged with the yearly payment of 40 shillings on 1 January to be distributed in bread to the poor and of 20 shillings to the Vicar and his Assistant for a sermon on 1 January upon Circumcision to be preached alternately by the Vicar and his Assistant in the Chapel within the borough of Stratford-upon-Avon.
