Description

Memorandum re descent of a rent charge of 40 marks granted 1 Sept 1546 by Richard Newport to Edward Underhill of Hunningham from lands in Hunningham which was demised by Edward Underhill to Thomas Spencer, became vested in Sir Thomas Spencer of Yarnton, Oxon., bart., who granted 27 Sept 1666 to Mark Walford and heirs, who 17 Sept 1694 settled it on son Samuel at marriage. Samuel was father of Abel Walford who has estate in general tail and reversion in fee under Samuel's Marriage Settlement.
