Lease for a year from Nathaniell Hands of Coventry gent., Elizabeth, his wife, executrix of the Will of Nathaniell Whithill of Wantage co. Berks. physitian, deceased, who was brother and heir of William Whithill of Coventry, dyer, deceased, son and heir of Robert Whithill of Coventry, dyer, deceased, and John Billers of Cookham, co. Berks. son and heir of Anne Billers of Coventry, widow, deceased, the other sister of Nathaniell Whithill and William Whithill, to Thomas Viall of Coventry, leatherdresser, of two newly erected messuages on the site of a former messuage on the West side of St. Johns Bridge [St. John Street] in Coventry in the occupation of - Nicholls, - Bray and William Jenson, carpenter, and land called the Pool Yard (bounds described) lying near the said messuages between the garden of William Chaplin in the occupation of John Kidney and the River Sherburn [River Sherbourne], reserving a certain right of way to the Grantors and their tenants by the messuage in the occupation of William Jenson abutting on the garden of the said William Chaplain though now blocked up and used as a warehouse by the said John Kidney.
