Conveyance for the sum of £50 by Richard Waver, otherwise Over, of the city of Coventry, mercer, son and heir of the late deceased Henry Over to Sir John Spencer of Althropp, co. Northants., Knight, of the advowson of the Parish Church of Hardwick commonly called Priors Hardwick; reciting the grant by Edward VI [1467] dated 24 March in the seventh year of his reign to John Knight and Thomas Holmes of London, gentlemen, and their grant dated 12 May 7 Edward VI to the said Henry Over, deceased of the said advowson wherein the Church is described as parcel of the possessions of the late Priory or Cathedral Church of our Blessed Lady of Coventry, dissolved; with warranty against the interest of Leonard Harryson (now incumbent) upon the resignation of Thursten Moseley late incumbent of the vicarage. Witnesses: William Williams, William Glover and William Willes.
