Lease for a year and Release dated 23 24 March 1687/8 (Old style) [1688] from Sir Reginald Forster, Bart., of Old Stratford, and Dame Mary his wife, and Franklin Miller of Hyde Hall, co. Herts., and Jane his wife, to Alice Lord, widow, of Stratford-upon-Avon, for £26 17s 6d, of messuages, cottages, tenements, gardens and orchards with their appurtenances in Stratford-upon-Avon, near the Avon side, at or near the end of Chapel Lane or Walkers Lane, formerly in the tenure of John Dowty and Thomas Tyms, defending the said Alice Lord against all claims of the heirs and assigns of the late Edward Nash.
