Conveyance from Joseph Lant of Allesley, yeoman, and Ann his wife, to John Stone of Allesley, yeoman, (reciting that William Stone was then seised of the premises thereinafter mentioned for his life with remainder, as to one moiety expectant on the death of William Stone, to Joseph Lant, and his heirs and with remainder, as to the other moiety expectant on the death of William Stone, to Joseph Lant and Ann his wife and the heirs of their bodies) for £46, of a close of pasture then in the occupation of George Austin in Fletchampstead in the parish of Stoneleigh, near to the Hawthorn Tree, adjoining the lands of Edward Mason of Ashby-de-la-Zouch on the North, to the lane leading from the Hawthorne Tree to Western Heath on the West, and to the land of Lord Leigh called the Rough, then in the tenure of John Barran, on the East. Witnesses: Thomas Rose, William Spicer, Nicholas Rider and Thomas Smith.
