Feoffment and quitclaim from Joseph Bovey of Kings Coughton in the parish of Alcester, gent., and Mary, his wife, Henry Smith, the elder, of Cropthorne co. Worcester, gent., Henry Smith, the younger, son and heir of the said Henry Smith, the elder, to Samuel Cole of Alcester, inholder, of a messuage at Alcester Heath in the parish of Alcester in the occupation of Anthony Gibbs and George Parsons, with land adjoyning in a meadow called Cockymore, also a cottage and lands in the occupation of Anne James, widow, all in a common field of Kings Coughton called Alcester Heath in the parish of Alcester. The said grantors appointing John Jones of Alcester gent., and Edward Morgan of the same place, mercer, attorneys to deliver seisin. Consideration: £252. Signed and sealed by grantors. Witnesses: John Cresser, John Price, William Smith and Joshua Bradley. Witnesses to delivery of Seisin: Robert Butcher, Beniamine Butcher, George Parsons, Joshua Bradley.
