Assignment of Lease from Mary Penson of Church Tysoe [Middle Tysoe], widow, to George Elliott alias Gyles of Upper Tysoe, yeoman, of a messuage and lands in Church Tysoe lying on the left side of the brook in Church Tysoe, between the house of Thomas Hewins on the East and the house of Edward Hitchcox on the South. Which premises were formerly leased in 1655, for nine hundred and fifty years by Isaac Clarke of Church Tysoe gent., Nicholas Tysoe of Upper Tysoe, yeoman and John Middleton of Nether Tysoe [Lower Tysoe], yeoman, to Nicholas Harris of Nether Tysoe, yeoman, whose widow Mary Harris assigned them to her daughter the said Mary Penson. To hold to the said George Elliott alias Gyles for the remainder of the said term. Consideration: £40. The mark and seal of Mary Penson. Witnesses: William Faulkner and J. Hopkins.
