Legal papers, letters and accounts relating to a law suit concerning assessments charged on Temple Balsall by Hampton in Arden parish, including levies 1647-1688, and two letters written by Sir William Dugdale concerning the same. This bundle also contains a levy for Stoneleigh dated 25 May 1699 towards the sum of £1,484,015 1s 11 frac34;d granted by parliament to 'disband the army and provide a navy'.
