Description

Lease with warranty from Alice de Langeleya lady of Pinneleya next Coventr' to William and Roger the sons of Henry Carpantar' of Wilenhale, for 30 years, of the water-mill at Alreneford' with the river-meadow (holmo) behind the said mill and the pasture of Plategremn and with a certain part of Linch and a certain part from Frithorchard as far as the head of the mill-pool and with `incremento stagni'; and the said William and Roger may take what is necessary `per visum' of the lord's bailiff from the wood growing in the river-meadow to repair the mill and the dam; to hold of the said Alice, paying annually 28 shillings (4 terms). Witnesses: Ralph de Whitele, Alexander de Bathekinton', Ranulph of the same, Henry de Bruera, Adam son of Milo de Whitele, William de Pinnele and others.
