Deed poll by Sir Rowland Hill, citizen and alderman of London releasing to Sir Thomas Leigh all his rights in the lordships, manors, rectories, houses, lands, tenements, tithes, mills etc viz: rectory of Leek Wootton; grange of Leek Wootton; manor of Kings Newnham and Leek Wootton alias Cross Grange; rectory of Kings Newnham late part of the property of the monastery of Kenilworth; together with all lands and tenements known by the names of Moreles, Bretforde, Sandpit and Rollesham Closes in Newnham; coney warren in Newnham; mill house and water mill called the Holme with fishery in the Avon at Newnham formerly in the occupation of Thomas Dawkyns, after of George Dawes and Katherine his wife; the tithes of corn and hay; Thickthorn Grove; all manorial rights belonging to the same place All which were confirmed to the said Hill and Leigh by Letters Patent dated 7 June 1559 Seal on tag Signed `Rowlland Hyll'
