Cheeke, Russell Tipping families: Archer of Tanworth

Description

Samuel Ogle [a commissioner of the revenue For Ireland] to ? [possibly George Dodington]. Letter. A report and account of Lady Russell's demand are going to the Lord Treasurer. He has taken great care in this affair, but there is still some perplexity for the period immediately after the reduction of Ireland, when the rents 'were under a kind of private managem't between Lady D'rs Agents and ye Collectors'. It was not possible for Lady Russell to come into her grant any earlier. Dublin, 8 Mar 1711/12
