Description

Gift with warranty from Richard Smart' of Coventr' and Felicity his wife to John son of Thomas le Baylif' of Styvichale, and the said Thomas le Baylif' `patri carnali' of the said John, of a messuage in the vill of Styvichale with a garden and croft containing 2 acres of land; which croft extends in length and breadth between le Hallefeld' and the highway as far as the land which William de Leycestria once held in Styvichale; with the further gift of the following; a piece of land called le Overhallestude with a certain lane leading from the said land towards the church of Styvichale between the land of Thomas de Barwe on both sides, together with all easements and appurtenances; half an acre of arable land in Parkeforlong' between the land which belonged to Master Robert Pikerel and the land of Reginald le Charmon; half an acre of land in the same furlong between the land which John Russel once held and the land of Henry Callemakere; half an acre in the same furlong between the land which belonged to Master Robert Pikerel and the land which Thomas de Stratton' once held; half an acre upon le Whyte between the land of William de Barwe and the land of Thomas de Stratton'; one rood of land in the same furlong between the land which belonged to Sir John de Longeleye on both sides; half an acre of land in Oldefeld' between the land of Reginald Ballard and the land of Geoffrey le Pottere; one rood of land at Axtreoneford' between the land of Geoffrey de Whyteleye and the land which belonged to Master William de Leycestria; half an acre of land next to le Marleput' between the land of Sir John de Longeleye and the land of Geoffrey de Whyteleye; one rood of land at Carsewelleforlong' between the land of Geoffrey de Whyteleye and the land of Henry Hugon'; one rood of land at Holeweye between the land of Geoffrey de Whiteleye and the land of William Moubray; half an acre of land at Cokkeslone between the land of Geoffrey le Pottere and the land of Henry Hugon'; and one rood of land between Dauwehauedlonges between the land once of William le Westerne and the land of Henry Hugon'; to hold the same from the chief lord of the fee.
