Description

Demise from Katherine Gregory of Stivichall, widow and relict of Loveisgod Gregory late of Stivichall, esq., deceased, to Thomas Burgh of Coventry, esq. and Jonathan Kimberley of Coventry, clerk, (in pursuance of an agreement tripartite dated 18 May 1694 between Charles Yardley of Exhull, clerk, and the said Katherine Gregory, Thomas Burgh and Jonathan Kimberley, and in consideration of 5 shillings) of a messuage in Stivichall in the tenure of Thomas Welton, a messuage in Stivichall in the tenure of Benedict Welton, a mill with meadow ground in Stivichall in the tenure of William Satchwell, a messuage in Stivichall in the tenure of Thomas Lapworth, common field land lying dispersedly in the fields of Stivichall in the tenure of Thomas Whitmore, and all lands and tenements in Stivichall in the tenure of Thomas Arnold; to hold the same for a term of 7 years, in trust that they will dispose of all the rents, etc. in such a way as the said Katherine shall direct, or in default of such direction, for the benefit of those children by the said Loveisgod, her late husband, who are not his heir, or who are not provided for under the will of the said Loveisgod.
