Description

Conveyance from William Dawes of Brinckloe yeoman and Thomas Dawes son and heir apparent of the said William, to Richard Cure of Combe gent., for £20 paid by Mathew Cure of Combe gent., of a moiety of a meadow ground called Hell Meadowe, situate in Brinckloe, now or late in the occupation of the said William Dawes (the other moiety of the said meadow now being and has for divers years been the freehold inheritance of the said Mathew Cure) and a close of meadow called Gardners Close containing two acres in Brinckloe now in the occupation of the said William Dawes; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee free from disturbance by them or any person claiming any interest from them or from William Dawes deceased (father of the said William Dawes), one mortgage of the premises made by the said William Dawes deceased to Thomas Awdley of London gent., by indenture dated 30 August, 8 James I [1610] for 100 years excepted, which term of years is now vested in the said Mathew Cure.
