Feoffment from William Southerne of Rowington, clerk, and Barbara his wife, to Thomas Reason of Claverdon, yeoman, for £220, of a messuage in Lapworth, near a place called Spratts Pitt, with five closes adjoining called the Home Closes, containing 12 acres and bounded by the lands of Thomas Harborne, the parishioners of Lapworth, and Mathew Walford, and the Kings Highway; and one other close called the Pinfold, containing three acres and bounded by the lands of Mathew Walford and William Holbeche and the Kings Highway; all which premises were late in the tenure of Thomas Gibbs and now of Edward Kinge, and were lately purchased by William Southerne and Barbara his wife from Samuel Whistones of Henley in Arden, tailor, and Susanna his wife. Bond to perform covenants attached.
