Probate copy [28 June 1521] Will of John Archer, Tanworth, esq. To be buried in Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Tanworth. 2/- to mother church of Worcester and "to my mor tuaryes that that ryght requyreth'; 20/- to church of Tanworth, and 20/- to gilding the rood loft there; stone to be laid over grave of his parents. Executors to perform his father's will re yearly obit for souls of self, parents and all christian souls in perpetuity. Moveables to younger children. Executors: wife Margaret, eldest son Richard, Humfrey Stafford, William Stafford 'my breder in law'. Witnesses: John Fulwoode the elder, Sir John Gylpyn, priest; John Roberts,Harre Hunt, Richard Balamy. Dated at Tanworth.
