Letters Patent reciting that when Alice widow of Sir Thomas Leigh Knight, by deed of 28 Jan: 1575-6, sold to Thomas Leigh her son, the grange of Fletchampstead in Stoneley, parcel of the estates of the priory of St John of Jerusalem, with its capital messuage and lands, including Lambe Oke, Holbrokemeade, and Hartesmede; which they acquired of William Humbertston of Pakenham, co. Suffolk, and settled them to the use of Thomas her son, viz. the said manor and grange, etc. She is hereby pardoned for the said transgression. With great seal.
