Licence under the Great Seal to William Caundishe of Trimley St Martin, Suffolk, esquire, son and heir of Sir Richard Caundishe, kinsman and one of the co-heirs of Charles, Duke of Suffolk, to alienate to the house and lands of Croftes, Linconshire, held in chief of the Crown, to John Caundishe of Orby, Lincs., esquire, Edward Hall, esq., John Hare and Thomas Cony, citizens and mercers of London tot he uses of a deed of indenture between the said William Caundishe and Sir Rowland Hill, and Sir Thomas Leigh, citizens and aldermen of London, dated 17 March 1561 Memorandum of affirmation by Sir Thomas Leigh that the annual value of the lands was £30 Costs: £10 for licence; 2s 4d for the seal; 8d for enrolling
