Sworn declaration by John Johnson, M.A., parson of Lapworth, Sir James Taylor, parson of Baddesley Clinton, John Momford of Baddesley Clinton, son and heir of Thomas Momford, and John Johnson of Lapworth that, on Lady Day last [25 March], Thomas Momford, on his death bed, acknowledged that he had slandered John Archer before the King's Council out of ill will and malice and asked Master Johnson to ask pardon and forgiveness of John Archer.
