Lease and Release: Chapel House, Honington

Indentures of Lease and Release dated 31 December/1 January 1716, between Henry Dodd of Honington, gent., and Susannah, his wife of the one part, and Willian Neale of Honington, yeoman of the other part, whereby Henry Dodd and Susannah his wife, in consideration of £21. 10s 0d to them paid by William Neale, conveyed to the said William Neale a cottage and close called the Chapel House and Chapel Close respectively containing about two acres of land, which premises were conveyed to Margaret and Victoria Gibbs (by ER3/2074) by Henry Parker and devised in the will of Victoria Gibbs, the survivor, to Henry Dodd. Witnesses: William Hiorne, Edward Hiorne and Joseph Hunt junior.
