Affidavit by Gerard Power of Kenilworth, Richard Pegyn of Warwick, John Holbache the younger of Fillongley, Richard Gregory of Coventry and John Henbrow of Leamington Priors, that they with one Thomas Orlyche, were present in the house of Henry Godson of Coventry, shoemaker, when the said Henry Godson brought forth a deed entailing the lands of Thomas Orlyche (grandfather of the said Thomas Orlyche) in Ashow, and confessed that he had cut off the seal `with his owne knyff to the entent to dysteyle the heyers'.
