Quitclaim: Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Quitclaim dated from Thomas Staffordshire of Stratford-upon-Avon, son and heir of William Staffordshire, late of the same, and Alice his wife, to Robert Hobbeday of Stratford aforesaid, corviser, and Agnes his wife, of all his right in the tenement, with a vacant piece of land adjoining it, in 'le Middelrewe' in Stratford, between the vacant piece of land formerly Margery Pounde's at the end of 'Bruggstrete' on the one part, and the shops late of Thomas Sompnour, chaplain, on the other part, and with the street of 'Bruggestret' on both sides. Witnesses: Thomas Leeke, Capital Bailiff of Stratford, John Eyris and John Hale, sub-bailiffs, John Hannys and John Webbe. Dated at Stratford in the feast of St. Gregory the Pope, 31 Henry VI [1453]. Circular seal of red wax: fleur de lys within a hexagram.
