Conveyance by Lease and Release (to secure a Mortgage) from Thomas Hopkins of Cookhill in the parish of Inkberrow, co. Worcs., yeoman, to John Ellins the younger of Morton Abbots, co. Worcs., yeoman, (reciting a mortgage dated 1 and 2 July 1713, from Thomas Hopkins and Mary his wife together with John Monroe of Tuttenhill, yeoman, and William Field of the same place, yeoman, for £100, of a messuage and two yard lands thereto belonging and situate in Aston Cantlow granted by the Rt. Hon. George Lord Bergavenny to Richard Whyham of Aston Cantlow, to hold the same during the lives of Richard Whyham, Grevill Purefoy, gent., and Mary Hopkins, spinster, and the survivor of them, to hold the same for the lives aforesaid, (Mary Hopkins then being the wife of Edward Price of Alcester, gunsmith) for better securing of the said sum of £100, of two closes called Cliffe Closes described in ER3/2656-2657, subject to a proviso for redemption.
