Draft Release of Life Interest: Snitterfield and Alveston

Draft of Agreement between Ann Hiron of Great Malvern, co. Worcester, spinster, and Thomas Wheatley Hiron of Warwick, surgeon (brother of the said Ann) whereby the said Ann in consideration of £100 and an annuity of £220 released to the said Thomas, her life estate in messuages and lands in Snitterfield [called the Windmill Inn etc.], subject to a mortgage of £2,000 raised by the said Thomas, according to uses directed by Thomas Hiron of Warwick, surgeon, deceased, father of the said Ann and Thomas. Which £2,000 was to be divided between the said Ann and her sister Elizabeth and the said Ann to receive £40 annually, the interest on the £1,000 due to the said Elizabeth if she outlived the said Elizabeth and her husband John Giles Toogood of Bridgewater co. Somerset, surgeon (married 1840). The said Ann also released her interest in lands and tenements in Alveston belonging to the said Thomas. Witnesses: Thomas Heath. S.W. Haynes. [Hiron]
