Lease and Release, the Release being a Reconveyance from Pearshouse Drury of Evesham, co. Worcester, brazier, son and heir of John Drury of the same, brazier deceased, who was the eldest son of Susannah Drury, formerly Pearshouse deceased, by her husband Henry Drury, brazier deceased, the said Susannah also being one of the sisters and, if she had lived, co-heiress of John Pearshouse of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent, deceased, Robert Mercer of Birmingham, factor, son and heir of Walter Mercer of the same, yeoman deceased, who was son and heir of Elizabeth Mercer, formerly Pearshouse, deceased, by her husband John Mercer of Birmingham, butcher, deceased, the said Elizabeth being sister of the said Susannah Drury and, if she had lived, co-heiress of the said John Pearshouse, at the request and direction of the said Pearshouse Drury, and both the said Pearshouse Drury and the said Robert Mercer at the request and direction of Decimus Slatter of Ilmington, gent., to Thomas Harbridge of Pillerton, gent., trustee of the said Decimus Slatter, of a messuage and lands in Ilmington (described in ER3/4413). To hold to the use of the said Decimus Slatter. Which premises were formerly assigned by the assignees named in ER3/4414 to the said John Pearshouse deceased to secure £1,000. Consideration: £550. £450 previously repaid by the said Decimus Slatter. Signed and sealed by Pearshouse Drury. Three other seals. Witnesses: F. Findon, J. B. Bellamy. Bond from the said Pearshouse Drury to the said Decimus Slatter to secure the above conveyance in the penal sum of £300, enclosed. [Hurlstone]
