Draft abstract of title (1805) of John Hemming to two parcels of land in Alcester called the Botteress and Farthing Piece and Quineys Close; as to Botteress and Farthing Piece, commencing with a marriage settlement, dated 10 January 1681, made upon the marriage of John Jones the younger, son of John Jones the elder of London, merchant tailor, and Katherine daughter of William Shardlow, goldsmith, of London, and ending with a conveyance, dated 14 October 1802, from the executors of the will of John Cheston to John Hemming of Alcester, butcher; as to Quineys Close, by a conveyance, dated 8 May 1720, from Thomas Beesley of Alcester, chandler, to John Quinton of Alcester, butcher, and ending with a conveyance, dated 18 April 1804 from the executors of the will of John Cheston to John Hemming of Alcester, butcher.
