Abstract of title to the White Lion Inn and premises in Stratford-upon-Avon, commencing with a conveyance of 14 November 1746 from Thomas Horne of Spilsbury, co. Oxon., clerk and Susannah, his wife to John Payton of Stratford-upon-Avon, innholder and ending with an indenture of 19 April 1822 between Christopher Scott of the first part, William Oakes Hunt of the second part, Charles Smith of the third part, John Arnold and the said William Hemings of the fourth part, Thomas and James Arkell of the fifth part, Edward Pruen of Cheltenham, gentleman of the sixth part, and Thomas Griffiths of the same place of the seventh part. 101 folios. With eight documents containing copies of deeds in above abstract continuing the abstract of title to an indenture of 19 April 1834, between F. Lawley of the first part, James Arkell of the second part, William Burman of the third part, and William Burman the younger of the fourth part, and twenty six other papers, 1811-1836.
