Defeasance of a bond of even date from Sir Thomas Leigh to Sir William Fleetewood of Great Missenden, co. Bucks., in the sum of £10,000 to keep covenants in an indenture of 23 March 1617 between David Fowlis and Edmund Yates of Westminster, esq., of the one part, and Sir Thomas Leigh, Sir Randolph Crewe and Sir Henry Yelverton, of the other part; and in an indenture of 24 March 1617 between Sir David Fowlis, Edward Yates, Sir William Fleetewood and Richard Fisher of the Inner Temple, esq., of the one part and Sir Thomas Leigh, Edward Boughton of Lawford, esq., and Thomas Bond of London, esq., of the other part.
