Description

Probate of the will of Robert Knight, Earl of Catherlough, dated 11 February 1772, settling annuities and estates at Barrels, Edstone, Studley, Holt, Great Grimsby, co. Lincs., Golden Square, co. Middx., in Montgomery, Shropshire, Flint, Cheshire and Worcestershire on Jane Davies, and his children by her, viz. Robert Knight, Henry Raleigh Knight, Jane Davies alias Knight and Henrietta Matilda Knight, with numerous legatees of personal estate including Lewis Henry Scipio de Grimoard de Beauvoir, Count Duroure and his kinswoman Henrietta Knight of Warwick, Marthe Pye and Margaretta Pye. Codicil, 24 February 1772, vesting in the said trustees to the same uses an estate in Warwickshire [viz. Chadshunt], which he was in the process of purchasing from Newsham Peers, esq.
