Description

Probate of the will of Randle Tayler of Shustoke, yeoman, dated 11 May 1653, confirming his wife Joan in her jointure (see nos. 631-2) which after her death is to pass to his daughter, Mary Erpe, for life, with remainder to her son, Randle Tayler Erpe, and his issue, or, in default to the eldest son of Elizabeth Tayler, daughter of his son, Thomas Tayler, and his issue, or in default, to John Gilbert, son of his daughter Winifrid; and bequeathing other property in Shustoke to his son Thomas Tayler for life, with remainder to his daughter Mary Erpe and her son Randle Tayler Erpe etc.; and pecuniary legacies to the other named relatives.
