Grant by Francis Smyth, Esq., to Nicholas Lane of Stratford upon Avon, yeoman, in performance of covenants dated 6 August 1 Elizabeth [1559] of a messuage etc. in `le Chappell Strete' Stratford, on the west side, in the tenure of Richard Yonge, weaver, extending from the street to lands late of the College of Stratford on the west and between lands late of Lady Smyth and now of William Brace and Richard Lane on the north, and land late of the Guild of Stratford on the south, together with a messuage etc. in Wood Street on the south side in the tenure of Emma Honyatt, widow, extending from the street to land late of the Guild on the South and between land of one Clopton of London, on the east and land late of the College on the west. Dated, 14 September 1 Elizabeth. Witnesses to livery of seisin, 17 September, Humfrey Plymley, William Brace, John Bell, Richard Symons, Richard Hancoke, Edward Yonge, Thomas Calwey.
