Description

Surrender by John Baynes of the Inner Temple esq., and John Padmore of the parish of St. Giles in the Fields, co. Middx., apothecary, to Combe Winsly of Canterbury, esq., of the manors, lands, etc. in Old Stratford and Hampton Lucy late belonging to Frances Combe, late of the parish of St. Giles in the Fields, widow of John Combe and by her devised by will, dated 30 August 1711 to the said John Baynes and John Padmore for a term for payment of her debts and legacies and of annuities to Judah Winsley her sister, Richard Combe, her nephew, Samuel Tompson late servant to her husband, Frances Scarlett, Thomas and John Lee, her nephews (to the age of fourteen), sons of John Lee and (by codicil dated 23 November 1713) to the same John Lee, with reversion to the said Combe Winsly and his heirs in tail. Witnesses: Thomas Bibb, Willim Bernard.
