Description

Lease and release, the release being a conveyance from Robert Berkley of Bath esq. and Thomas Berkley of Spetchley, Worcs. esq., his eldest son to Sir John Throckmorton of Buckland, Berks. bart. of the manor and capital messuage of St. Giles, formerly 2 tenements, in Spernall and Studley, in the tenure of George Hollis, in all c. 187 acres, part of which was formerly a wood called Nun Coppice or Nunwood. Also tithes in certain fields (named) in Studley, lately purchased from Robert Knight esq.
