Description

Quitclaim with warranty from Margery, daughter of Henry le Purser of Coventr' deceased, and widow of Richard Kyng' of the same, to Adam and John her sons, of all her right in all those rents and tenements which formerly belonged to Henry le Purser her father in Coventr', namely, that tenement with houses erected thereon lying in `vico de Sponna' [Spon Street] between the land of Stephen Marshal (Marescalli) and the land of Richard Sporkoc and extending from the said street to the land of John de Henleye; also a plot of land in the same street lying between the land of William le Waller' and the land of Roger atte Grene and extending from the said street to the stream; also a plot of land with houses erected thereon lying in the same street between the land of John Pyhod and the land of Avicia de Kyrkeby and extending from the said street as far as the curtilage of John Pihod; also 8 pence annual rent received from the tenement which Avicia de Kyrkeby holds in the same street next the tenement of Ralph de Styvechale; 8 pence annual rent from a tenement which Ralph de Styvechale holds in the same street next the tenement of Avicia de Kyrkeby; and 12 pence annual rent from a tenement which Richard Box holds in `Maior Parkstret' [Much Park street] and 12 pence annual rent from a tenement which Thomas le Schether' holds in the same street lying between the land of William Grauntpee and the land of Richard Box; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Dated at Coventr': Friday in the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 1 Edward II. Tag, seal lost.
